Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · Version 1.0

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of dragonworldcup.co.uk (“DragonWorldCup”, “the site”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Dragon Sports Media Limited (company number 15866644), registered at 2 Alexandra Gate, Ffordd Pengam, Cardiff, CF24 2SA. By accessing or using the site, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. About DragonWorldCup

DragonWorldCup is an editorial and free-to-play games website covering the FIFA World Cup 2026. We publish news, analysis, fixtures, statistics and player data, and we run two free games: Fantasy Manager and Super 6.

DragonWorldCup is operated by Dragon Sports Media Limited, the same Lovells Group subsidiary that operates DragonSports.co.uk, and has a commercial relationship with DragonBet (a separately operated Lovells Group gambling business with its own UK Gambling Commission licence, 64908). Where we link to DragonBet or display sponsored content, this is clearly labelled.

3. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or play our games.
  • You must be a resident of the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland to be eligible for free-bet prizes (DragonBet is licensed for those markets only).
  • You must provide accurate registration information. One account per person; multiple accounts are not permitted.
  • Employees of Dragon Sports Media Limited, DragonBet and the Lovells Group are not eligible to win prizes.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and contact support@dragonworldcup.co.uk.

4. The games — free entry, free-bet prizes

Fantasy Manager and Super 6 are free to play. There is no entry fee and no payment is required. Prizes are awarded as DragonBet free bets, subject to the following:

  • Free-bet prizes are issued via the email address registered to your DragonWorldCup account.
  • To redeem a prize you must hold or open a DragonBet account in the same name and email. Account opening is subject to DragonBet’s separate terms and identity (KYC) checks.
  • Free bets are subject to standard DragonBet free-bet terms (minimum odds, eligible markets, stake-not-returned, expiry — full terms on DragonBet.co.uk).
  • Prize values are stated in Pounds Sterling, are non-transferable, and have no cash alternative.
  • Any tax on prizes is the responsibility of the winner.

5. Game integrity

We reserve the right to:

  • Disqualify entries that appear automated, duplicated, collusive or fraudulent
  • Adjust scoring or void rounds where a data-provider error, fixture postponement, or other circumstance outside our control affects results
  • Modify game rules between tournaments (rules are fixed within a tournament once the first matchday has kicked off)
  • Suspend or close accounts where there is reasonable suspicion of rule-breaking

6. Content and editorial standards

News, previews, statistics, betting tips and other editorial content is provided for general information and entertainment. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but make no warranty that statistics, odds or data sourced from third parties (Sportmonks, DragonBet) will be accurate or current. Tips and predictions are editorial opinion, not financial, investment or betting advice. Any decision you make on the basis of site content is at your own risk.

7. Your use of the site

When you use DragonWorldCup you agree:

  • To use the site lawfully and not to bypass security measures or account controls
  • Not to use automated scrapers or bots beyond polite, robots.txt-respecting crawling
  • Not to upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing or infringing content via contact forms, league names, display names or any interactive feature
  • Not to include third-party personal data, or promotion of competing services or unlicensed gambling operators, in user-generated content
  • To respect the intellectual property rights of Dragon Sports Media Limited and our licensors

We may remove any user content and close accounts that repeatedly breach this clause.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on DragonWorldCup — articles, design, code, layout, graphics, and the DragonWorldCup brand — is owned by or licensed to Dragon Sports Media Limited. © 2026 Dragon Sports Media Limited. All rights reserved.

You may view, share and link to articles for personal, non-commercial use, and quote short extracts (up to ~50 words) with attribution and a link back. You may not republish, redistribute or commercialise our content, use it to train AI models or for text and data mining beyond what UK law permits, or use our trade marks without permission.

Sportmonks-derived data (fixtures, scores, statistics, player profiles) is licensed to us by Sportmonks and remains subject to their terms. Club crests, competition marks and player imagery are the property of the respective rights-holders and used for editorial reference. The DragonBet logo and brand are owned by the Lovells Group.

9. Links to third-party sites

We link to third-party sites where editorially relevant and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability. Some links to DragonBet are commercial and labelled rel="sponsored" in line with current search engine and ASA guidance.

10. Gambling content and responsible gambling

DragonWorldCup covers a tournament that is heavily bet on. We may discuss odds and betting markets editorially, link to DragonBet via clearly labelled commercial placements, and run free-to-play games with free-bet prizes. We do not target users under 18 and do not promote gambling as a solution to financial problems. DragonBet operates under UK Gambling Commission licence 64908 and is the licensed operator for any gambling activity; DragonWorldCup itself is not a gambling licensee.

If gambling is causing harm to you or someone you know, free 24/7 support is available:

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to the value of any prizes due to you. We don’t exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. We’re not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive losses, loss of profit, business, goodwill or data.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Dragon Sports Media Limited against any losses, claims or damages arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of any third-party right.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts, except that we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach in any jurisdiction where you reside or have assets.
